Krete is a hardy serif typeface by Roy Preston. Anchored by squared off wedge serifs and robust rounds, Krete demands attention. The figure set is old style, and there are several discretionary ligatures and an alternate base-aligning uppercase J. This package includes a companion weight drawn italic. It is a handsome typeface for text settings.
